There are four new cases of Covid-19, Health CS Mutahi Kagwe has said.
They are one Kenyan and three foreigners from US, Cameroon and Burkina Faso.
A total of 69 samples were analysed.
On Saturday, there were seven new cases bringing the total number of cases to 38.
However, one patient died on Thursday. The man, who was 66 years old, died at Aga Khan University Hospital on Thursday. He had diabetes.
This means there are 37 recorded Covid-19 cases in Kenya. One person has fully recovered.
All the new cases were from Nairobi county.
Out of the seven, four patients were Kenyans, two were Congolese and one was Chinese.
The CS had said that there was a likelihood of an increase in the Covid-19 cases once mass testing begins on Sunday.
Kagwe said the government would embark on mass testing for those believed to have been in contact with Covid-19 patients.
According to Kagwe, 833 people have been tested so far and were aiming to test 2,000 others through the mass test.
He said a total of 1,141 contacts are being traced
"We are closely monitoring 978 close contacts and we have discharged 163 after the 14-day follow up period,” Kagwe said
